Spring has sprung, and cooking wears a whole new look. The dark, cold, dreary days of Thanksgiving and Christmas cooking give way to breezy, sunny patios, parks, and decks. Kitchen aromas wisp through open, airy windows on Spring afternoons.
To celebrate upcoming events and the gift giving and entertainment that come with them, we are sponsoring an apron giveaway contest. We will give away three of our aprons offered at www.apronique.com. Mother's Day, Father's Day, and the 4th of July are interspersed with bridal showers, and weddings. Win an apron, and hostess in style, or present a unique gift to a favorite cook.

1st apron for giveawayParis Toile in Black Reversible Apron
This apron is very limited, and there will be no more made in this style.
Black cotton toile on white provides the inspiration for this reversible bib apron in the Verandah Collection. Always a classic, the toile scene is reminiscent of 17th century Paris. The top of the front of this apron is made from stain repellant black polyester/cotton twill, and well able to withstand the occasional spills and splashes. White polyester/cotton broadcloth is the fabric choice for the 36" waist sashes and neckties. The reverse side of this apron is available in a black white stripe, or solid black--our choice. Machine wash in cold water, line dry or tumble dry on low heat.

Over the next few weeks, we will post a description of two more giveaway aprons in different posts. Allowed is, one entry per person per posts--total of 3--exception in #2 below) You may comment once for each post anytime until midnight, April 27, 2009.
2. If you have purchased an apron from Apronique before, you may be eligible for additional contest entries. If you will e-mail to us at info@apronique.com a photo of the apron owner, wearing the apron, your name will be entered again, one time for each different apron pictured. The person in the photo must agree to have their photo posted on our website, if we so choose. If you are a recipient/owner of an apron from Apronique, you may do the same for additional contest entries.
3. Help us promote this contest! If you blog about the contest, you earn an additional entry. If you post it on a message board, you earn an additional entry for each posting; if you give us a plug on twitter, you earn a contest entry. Please leave additional bonus comments on one of the giveaway apron posts, with a link to where you promoted our contest, so we can verify it.
