Arts & Crafts Christmas Extravaganza

A much-too-small 10 x10 space has been our location the past two days. At the Cape Girardeau MO Arts Council Christmas craft event, we enjoyed meeting new customers and listening to their praise of our products. Mr. Thomas Neumeyer won the cotton candy sparkle apron that we donated as a prize--we hadn't really considered that a man might win! His daughter accompanied him, and I believe that she might show up in a certain Apronique apron!

An Event-"full" Week!

Whew! Our heads are spinning. We've had a great week, but we are glad to know that it's in the past.
Thursday evening, Kim D. hosted a fabulous "trunk show" event at a local country club. The "klassy" ladies that attended enjoyed delectables by Kim, and from a local gift shop in historic downtown, Cape Girardeau, MO--Patricia Ann's. After an evening of designer apron shopping and Kristin's performance of her newly recorded songs, we exited, having enjoyed a memorable and remarkable gathering. We look forward to the responses of those who will be receiving Apronique apron gifts, as a result of this event. Thanks so much to Kim, Deb, Jo, Angie and Craig--and all of our customers who made this night a success. Above is pictured Kim and I, Kristin performing and a few of the guests.

Busy Time of the Year

It's the busiest time of the year. For us, it is crunch time, it is crazy time. Our best sales of the year are during the holidays. We have two upcoming events for which we are scurrying to get everything ready. A friend of Kristin's graciously and generously offered to host an apron trunk show at a local Country Club. Another friend, who owns a local shop where our aprons are sold, will provide gourmet delights. We are excited to show our designs to this group of ladies in our local area. The climax of the evening will be a mini-concert performed by Kristin. She will be singing some of her new material that she has just recorded for an upcoming solo project.
Then 2 days later, we will be in the midst of holiday flurry at our booth at the Christmas Arts and Crafts Extravaganza in Cape Girardeau, MO. We look forward to seeing some of our returning customers, and displaying our designs for new shoppers.
In the middle of all of the bustle, we received a complimentary copy of the Nov/Dec issue of Country Business. On the trend watch editorial page, we found our photo of Kristin modeling the Chocolate Sunflower design! We are more than excited. You can see a copy of the article on our website.
Speaking of the website, I decided it was time to do a redesign. Check out the changes. http://www.apronique.com/
Blessed holidays to all! M and K
